Supporting AS Colour's International Distribution Expansion Across Three Global Facilities

As AS Colour continued expanding its international distribution network, the business required a consistent warehouse identification solution across multiple new facilities in the United States and United Kingdom.

Rack & Shelf Labels supported the rollout by delivering standardized warehouse labeling systems across three distribution facilities, helping establish a consistent framework for inventory location identification and future operational growth.

The project encompassed approximately 150,000 warehouse locations across facilities in Carson, California, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Leighton Buzzard, United Kingdom.

The Challenge

Expanding warehouse operations across multiple countries creates unique challenges for inventory identification, operational consistency, and long-term scalability.

For AS Colour, the opening of three new distribution facilities required a standardized approach to warehouse location labeling that could be deployed across multiple regions while maintaining consistency throughout the network.

The project required coordination across manufacturing, design, and supply teams to ensure warehouse identification standards could be implemented efficiently across all facilities.

The Solution

Rack & Shelf Labels delivered a coordinated warehouse identification program supporting facilities in both the United States and United Kingdom.

The solution included the design, production, and supply of warehouse location labeling systems across approximately 150,000 locations.

To support project delivery, products supplied into the United States were manufactured in Australia, while the United Kingdom facility was supplied locally using the same design standards and specifications. This approach ensured consistency across all locations while supporting efficient regional delivery.

By leveraging global manufacturing and supply capabilities, Rack & Shelf Labels helped create a standardized warehouse identification framework that could support AS Colour's growing international distribution operations.

The Results

The project successfully delivered warehouse identification systems across three international distribution facilities, demonstrating Rack & Shelf Labels' ability to support large-scale warehouse operations across multiple regions.
